In my iPad class on September 16th, I began a sketch of our model in a reclining pose, which I continued to work on for several days. I am using the iPad Air, and the APP Procreate, with a Wacom “Bamboo” stylus.

I joined the staff and guests of ARTSY.net for a Sketch MeetUp. I’ve been looking for a chance to use the APP Procreate to create a video from a LIVE Life Drawing class. This is my first experience trying to keep pace with a series of 5, 10 and 20 minute poses.
Back at ARTSY’s headquarters for another Sketch MeetUp, where I can work with my favorite APP: Procreate. Tonight’s model was a lovely Italian woman named Izaskun. I created this video with several short poses and one long pose at the end.

In this video, I’m drawing the male nude in a series of 10-15 minute poses. I’m using the iPad Air, the APP Procreate, and a Wacom stylus. This model is lean and sinewy. I am using a rough cross-hatch technique for a rhythmic feel on the playback of the video.
